“While the Church does not promote marriage as a treatment method for same-sex attraction, couples who are trying to be lovingly supportive of each other while being true to their religious convictions deserve our support and respect.”

M any in the LDS Church will see these as success stories, which means every person with gay attractions can be successful and being married to women and still be attracted to men and not act on those inclinations. ”However, I see this as turning in to a propaganda tool for the church to say: See, straight marriage is for everyone. It’s no different if the opposite-sex couples are attracted to others but stay faithful. “They are honest and up front about it, so that’s good. “The show is about men married to women who love their wives, yet are attracted to men,” said Tosh Metzger, with Provo Pride.
It is more about sacrifice, faith and the personal reality for those who find themselves in such a situation. The special circumstance featured on the show is not about men having their cake and eating it, too.
